Frequently asked questions
What is the Magic: The Gathering Reserved List?+
The Reserved List is a list of cards from Magic's early sets that Wizards of the Coast has promised never to reprint. Because supply is permanently capped, Reserved List cards are a focus of MTG finance and many hold significant value.
What does the Commander deck inclusion rate mean?+
The inclusion rate is the share of Commander (EDH) decks that include the card, out of the decks where it could be played. A high rate means the card sees real play; a low rate suggests its price is driven more by scarcity and collectibility than by demand from players.
Where do the prices come from?+
Prices come from Cardmarket and TCGplayer and are refreshed regularly. Cardmarket prices are in EUR and TCGplayer prices in USD; Mana Value converts them to your selected currency for display.
Why pair Commander deck inclusion rates with prices?+
Reserved List cards can never be reprinted, so comparing how often a card is actually played in Commander against what it costs helps separate cards priced on play demand from cards priced on scarcity alone.
