What is a Magic: The Gathering Festival in a Box?+
Festival in a Box is MagicCon content delivered at home, sold on the Secret Lair webshop around each convention. Each box listed here holds a Secret Lair drop sold nowhere else, the convention's promo cards, and a sealed Mystery Booster box — the Convention Edition through 2023, Mystery Booster 2 from 2024 — and some add collector or draft boosters or Commander decks. The first was sold for Magic 30 in 2022.
Is a Festival in a Box worth more opened than sealed?+
Mana Value prices everything in each box bought separately — every card at the exact printing and finish the box ships, plus its sealed Mystery Booster box and any other boosters or decks — and sets that against what the sealed Festival in a Box sells for. A ratio above 1× means the contents are worth more than the box; below 1× the box is worth more intact. Playmats, sleeves and assorted booster grab bags are not priced.
