Chaos Vault: Reality Fracture

Gold prices are above the drop's price.Wizards announcement

Every price here is the TCGplayer market price of the cheapest existing printing of each card, and links to that printing. Wizards announced two drops for the Secret Lair Chaos Vault, sold on their own or packaged with the Reality Fracture Secret Lair Bundle. Each drop is $29.99 non-foil or $39.99 foil. The announcement gives no sale date beyond "soon", so there is no Secret Lair printing on the market to price yet. The bundle, and the three packages that pair it with the drops, are priced further down.

Duality Distorted

$29.99 non-foil · $39.99 foil · drop page

Tribute to the World Tree is the most expensive card here at $14.00, under half the $29.99 non-foil drop.

Singles run $4.56 above the non-foil drop price and $25.11 above the foil drop price, and no single card costs more than the drop in either finish. Pyroblast comes closest in foil at $29.02.

怪異学校 — Strange School

$29.99 non-foil · $39.99 foil · drop page

A foil Soul Spike alone costs $84.79, more than the $39.99 foil drop.

Singles run $34.12 above the non-foil drop price and $174.42 above the foil drop price. Three of the five cards cost more in foil than the $39.99 foil drop: Soul Spike at $84.79, Bitter Ordeal at $63.81 and Attrition at $62.40. If you want any one of them in foil and don't mind the Secret Lair art, the foil drop is the cheaper way to get it. TCGplayer lists a single printing each of Soul Spike (Coldsnap) and Bitter Ordeal (Future Sight), and the cheapest foil Attrition is the Amonkhet Invocation.

In non-foil no card costs more than the $29.99 drop on its own, with Bitter Ordeal closest at $26.65, but any two of Bitter Ordeal, Attrition and Soul Spike do. Ophiomancer and Sign in Blood add $1.26 between them.

Reality Fracture Secret Lair Bundle

Boosters at MSRP, two average promos and the foil lands come to $133.17, against an $89.99 bundle.

The Reality Fracture Secret Lair Bundle is $89.99 and releases October 23, 2026. It holds 6 Play Boosters, 2 Collector Boosters, 20 foil tower basic lands, 2 of 10 foil Secret Lair promo cards at random, a spindown and a storage box.

Promo cards

The promos are foil, so each is priced at its cheapest existing foil printing. That is $15.92 a card on average, or $31.84 for the two in a bundle. The best pair (The Theorist, Jace Beleren and Emrakul, the Exigent Doom) is $83.41 and the worst (Overwrite the Multiverse and Omnipresence) is $7.28. This assumes each of the ten is equally likely, which Wizards has not said.

An eleventh card, Sphinx's Approach, has the same treatment and sits in the same collector-number run. Wizards says 2 of 10, so it is left out.

Expected value

That is $43.18 above the $89.99 price. The eight boosters alone come to $3.07 less than the bundle, and even the worst promo pair covers that. Boosters are counted sealed at Wizards' MSRP, the lands as the set's borderless foil basics at their $0.72 average, and the spindown and box at nothing. The sealed bundle sells for $176.29 on TCGplayer, $43.12 more than this total.

Bundles

Three packages pair one Secret Lair Bundle with both drops. The Non-Foil Edition has the drops in non-foil, the Foil Edition has them in foil, and the Everything Edition has both finishes of each.

The bundle column is the expected value above, and the drops column is the two drops' singles totals in that edition's finishes. Foil Soul Spike, Bitter Ordeal and Attrition are $211.00 of the Foil Edition's $412.68.

Take the drops' own prices off and the Non-Foil and Foil Editions each charge $100.00 for the Secret Lair Bundle, $10.01 over its $89.99 MSRP. The Everything Edition charges $95.03, which is $5.04 over. Wizards has not said what the Secret Lair store charges for the bundle by itself.
